Lorraine is an experienced attorney who has been practicing law for the past 14 years. As an Assistant State’s Attorney with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, Lorraine has tried over 85 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials ranging from property crimes to the most violent of felonies- Domestic Violence, Carjackings, Rapes and Murders. Lorraine has a passion for justice and understands the importance of Fairness on the Bench. Lorraine has dedicated the majority of her career to public service and has been a tireless advocate of victims’ rights.  Lorraine has continuously fought for victims of crimes in our communities and has represented them through the Criminal Justice System. She has been a fighter, a listener, a friend, and even a shoulder to cry on when needed.

Before attending Law School, Lorraine worked in Journalism at CNN and different NBC affiliates across the country as a broadcast journalist. It was that experience that cemented in Lorraine a desire to dedicate her life to public service and the pursuit of justice.

Lorraine lives in the Sauganash community in the 10th Judicial Subcircuit with her husband, Jim, and their 2 small children, Caitlin and Jimmy. They are parishioners at Queen of All Saints Basilica. She is active in her community and also volunteers her time as a Board member for the Reach Out Community Center, which helps provide underprivileged children with after school programs and other opportunities.

Lorraine’s experience and dedication to fairness and equality and her unblemished professional reputation make her the strongest and most qualified candidate to sit as judge.
